Streszczenie

Wprowadzenie. Zmiany patologiczne w jamie ustnej często są problemem diagnostycznym. Niektóre z nich są zaliczane do zmian przednowotworowych, z tego względu niezwykle ważne jest prawidłowe ich rozpoznanie w celu ustalenia dalszego postępowania.
Cel pracy. Ocena zgodności rozpoznań klinicznych i histopatologicznych wybranych zmian w jamie ustnej leczonych chirurgicznie.
Materiał i metody. Materiał do analizy retrospektywnej stanowiło 211 wyników badań histopatologicznych pacjentów Zakładu Chirurgii Stomatologicznej Uniwersytetu Medycznego we Wrocławiu leczonych w latach 2008–2012.
Wyniki. Z 211 wstępnych rozpoznań klinicznych w badaniu histopatologicznym potwierdzono 149 (70,6%). Do najczęściej rozpoznawanych w wybranych materiale zmian należały: włókniaki, brodawczaki, nadziąślaki oraz ziarniniaki: szczelinowaty, ropotwórczy oraz naczyniowy.
Wnioski. Trudności w rozpoznaniu klinicznym zmian patologicznych obecnych w jamie ustnej wynikają z ich dużej różnorodności i z częstego podobieństwa klinicznego tych zmian.

Abstract

Background. Pathologic lesions of oral cavity can often cause a serious diagnostic problem, while some of them should be classified as the pre-malignant lesions. Therefore, correct diagnosis is extremely important in order to arrange further investigations and run treating procedures.
Objectives. The aim of this retrospective study was to analyse the compatibility of clinical and histopathological diagnosis of selected lesions in oral cavity treated surgically. Materials and Methods. Data was drawn from 211 histopathology tests’ results from the Department of Oral Surgery at Wrocław’s Medical University. The tests were made in 2008–2012.
Results. Clinical and histopatological results agreed in 149 cases (70,6%). Predominatingly recognized lesions in selected material were: fibroma, papilloma, epulis and granulomas: fissuratum, pyogenicum and teleangiectaticum.
Conclusion. Difficult clinical diagnosis of pathological lesions present in oral cavity emerge out of their wide variety and frequent clinical similarity of this lesions.
