Streszczenie

Diagnostyka, plan leczenia, rokowanie w chorobach przyzębia są niezwykle ważne w podstawowej i specjalistycznej praktyce lekarskiej. Dlatego w artykule opisano aktualne wytyczne dotyczące prowadzenia pacjenta z chorobą przyzębia opracowane przez Amerykańskie Towarzystwo Periodontologiczne (AAP). Przedstawiono kolejne etapy związane z badaniem, rozpoznaniem, planem leczenia, a także oceną przeprowadzonego leczenia i prognozowania przebiegu periodontopatii.
